What are the types of measuring tools?

Measurement tools are divided into:

1. Length measuring tool;

2. Temperature measuring tools;

6. Current, voltage and resistance measurement tools;

7. Sound measuring instruments;

8. Radio measuring instruments;

9. Refractive index and average dispersion measuring instrument.

Some mechanical measuring tools, such as squares, calipers, etc., were first used in mechanical manufacturing. In the 16th century, smooth gauges were used in artillery manufacture. In 1772 and 1805, British J. Watt and H. Maudsley and others successively produced a Watt micrometer and a calibration length measuring machine using the principle of thread pair.
